The cost of an installation varied greatly depending on the combination of systems required. However, as a rough guide, it costs £4000-6000 for heat pump system in a small house (1-2 bedrooms) and £7000-10000 for a medium sized house (3-4 bedrooms).
The cost can be better estimated after an enquiry has been made with details of all the requirements.
Generally speaking, most of our systems can fit into an old building depending on the design of it. However, individual technologies do have specific requirements; for example, solar collectors must have an unshaded area.

There are different funding schemes depending on your situation. The most popular is the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP) which offers grants to projects for houses and public sector buildings. These grants contribute towards the cost of installing microgeneration equipment.
